This special film presentation will be introduced with a speaker and singers representing the Wiiwkwedong Arts Collective of Kettle and Stony Point. The film won the “ Air Canada Audience Choice Award” at the fall 2017 ImagineNative Film and Media Festival in Toronto. The film is about the grit and determination of 14 year old Ella , a youthful environmental activist, to travel along the Inside Passage by kyack in order to speak at a community gathering about protecting the rainforest.

There will be a representative from ImagineNative Film Festival present to speak to the audience after the film and to answer questions from the audience.
